My camera shows a black screen — what do I do?
Allow camera access in the browser address bar, close other apps or tabs using the camera, and reload. The help center has more fixes.
Can I start by text instead?
Yes. A random text chat or a chat room is a good warm-up; you can move to video with someone once you both want to.
